-Charles D. Juchau and his wife, of 418 Adelphi Street, Brooklyn, died within twenty-four hours of each other. Mrs. Juchau on Sunday and her husband yesterday. Mrs. Juchau died of paralysis and Mr. Juchau of lung trouble. They were natives of England and came to this country early in life. They had been married nearly fifty years. Mr. Juchau was for many years a manufacturer of fancy fans, and had a factory at 103 Pineapple Street, Brooklyn. Mrs. Juchau had suffered from paralysis for about a year, and some months ago her husband became ill.
-Mr. Juchau was in constant attendance upon his wife during her illness, and when he himself had to go to the Seney Hospital several weeks ago for an operation the parting between them was most affecting. The two had been looking forward with pleasurable anticipation of the celebrations of their golden wedding.
-When Mrs. Juchau died on Sunday the doctors at the hospital had given up hope for the recovery of the husband, and new of the wife's death was not communicated to him. He died yesterday afternoon in ignorance of her death. Mr. Juchau was eight-two years old, and his wife seventy-five years old. They are survived by three daughters. Funeral services for both will be held tomorrow evening.
