OTHER MARRIED NAMES INCLUDE DRAPER, SQUIRES, CAMPBELL AND ROBBINS.
Sarah was born in Canada West. Parents were Jacob Loucks and Mary Vantine both born in Canada. Family tradition says she was of Indian descent on her mother's side. She married William Draper. Their children were; Louisa (nick-named Weavey), born March 22, 1860, Helen Jane, Issac. Louisa married Dan Ervin in 1879. She lived 65 years in Oceana county, Michigan and died at 80 years of age. Her survivors; daughter Gertrude Crithett (#63985236 ) of Hillsdale, son Claude Ervin, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. I have no information on Helen Jane. Issac Pitt-Draper married Rachel Boyer. Their children were; Millie (married Manley Hubbard), Myrtie, Walter, Harry, Clyde and Amelia (twins). Sarah's first husband died after serving in The Civil War. He died in Ohio on his way home from Libby Prison where he was held after being captured and had been seriously ill when released. Sarah brought his body home from Ohio for burial. The story of how she made ointments and salves, and pedaled them from farm to farm to support the family during The Civil War, has been passed down to the present generation. After William's death, she married Gideon J. Squires, who himself was alone raising four young children. She and Gideon had two more children, Arthur Gideon and Jennie. After Gideon's death in 1893, Sarah married Michael Campbell, December 1, 1897. He died shortly after, and she married a Civil War survivor Stephen Robbins. He died in a Veteran's hospital in Southern Michigan. One document I have states that (spelt) Steven lived with Arthur Gideon Squires in Orient Township, Michigan as was listed as his stepfather at the age of 76 after his mother Sarah passed away.
