Therza is the daughter of John McDaniel and Cynthy Alexander. She was born in Illinois, but her parents later moved to Missouri where she married John White. John White died in Missouri in 1900 and is buried at Forest Grove Cemetery, Canton, Lewis County, Missouri. Therza's name is listed on the stone with no date of death carved in. I'm not sure why they were not buried together, but John and Therza's daughter, Flora White Botts, is also buried in Drakesville.
I've seen Therza's named spelled: Thirsa, Thirza, Thersa, Therza and Thursday. The spelling Thirza seems to be the most popular spelling.
