Aaron Hawkins, 85, of Rt. 1, Clarkson, died December 9, 1984 at his residence. / Mr. Hawkins was born April 23, 1899 in Grayson County, the son of Samuel Hawkins and Elizabeth Phillips Hawkins. His wife, Mary Awbrey Hawkins, deceased. / He was a retired farmer. / Survivors include: one son, James Hawkins, Rt. 1, Millwood, two daughters, Elizabeth Thomas, Leitchfield, Ruby Anderson, Pekin, Ill., one brother, Spurgeon Hawkins, Clarkson, two sisters, Elta Blackerby, Louisville and Eva Williams, of Big Clifty. Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Dec. 12, at the Rogers Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Dermitt officiating, burial in the Old Lone Oak Cemetery.
