George Patrick Kelleher

George Patrick Kelleher, son of patrick Kelleher and Louisa Singer was born at Drennon Springs, Kentucky, on December 9, 1851. He was united in marriage to Susanna Bodle at Vevay, Indiana on December 24, 1875.

On January 1, 1876 he arrived in Olathe to make his future home on a farm near Gardner. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Louisa King, Mrs. Charlotte Ainsworth of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Cora Tibbetts of Olathe. One son, Everett of Elizabeth, Colorado. Four grandchildren, Mrs. Ruth Sims of Dallas, Texas, George Howard and Everett D. Kelleher of Elizabeth, Colorado and Eldon Tibbetts of Olathe, and one great-grandson, George Henry Sims of Dallas.

the active years of his life were spent on the farm. For the past 20 years he has lived in Olathe where he died on Wednesday morning, February 15, 1933 at 12:30 o'clock.

Funeral services were held at the Julien Chapel on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, February 18, 1933, conducted by Rev. E.M. Daniels.

Interment in the Olathe cemetery.
