Mabel Billings Mullins, 97, of Memphis passed away April 30, 2008, at Wesley Highland Place in Memphis, TNH. Mabel was born February 4, 1911 to O. W. and Minnie Canipe Billings in Atoka, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jefferson Forrest Mullins; son Richard Lee Mullins; brothers Roy, Claude, Charles Vernon, and Frank Billings. Surviving are one daughter Carolyn Moffitt; grandchildren James Self Crone Jr., Jefferson Edward Crone, Laurie Moore, Renee Gosnell, and Richard Lee Mullins Jr. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Mabel was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held May 3 at St. Lukes Mthodist Church and burial will be in Memorial Park, Memphis, TN.
