Mrs. Nelle Wardell Rites Saturday

Nelle Jewell Wardell passed away on December 22nd at the Good Shepherd Home where she had resided for the past six years.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blaco of Kennard and was born on October 28, 1874, so was 90 years of age.

On February 6, 1896, she was married to George Harry Wardell. He preceded his wife in death many years ago.
She is survived by two sons, Merle B. Wardell of Kennard and Harry W. Wardell of Billings, Montana. Also one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Kragh (Gladys) of Bloomington, Wisconsin, ten grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. H. O. Wulff of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Methodist Church in Kennard at 10 a.m. The Rev. Samuel J. Hemphill of Arlington will officiate. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
