James Davis Hymas "Dave", age 90, passed away on April 27, 2008 at Cottonwood Creek Retirement Community in Millcreek Township, Utah.

He was born on August 9, 1917 in Albion, Idaho to Arthur James and Cordelia Davis Hymas. He married Margie Kingsbury on July 5, 1944. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Feb 1, 1990. He worked for Premium Oil and was owner of Polly Gas. He was a life member of the Utah Old Time Fiddlers and Murray Senior Citizen Band. He was an avid bowler and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survived by wife, Margie, daughter, Marjean (Darus) Middleton, grandchildren, Roger (Connie) Middleton, Sherrolyn Middleton, Denise (John) Bell, Marie Middleton, great-grandchildren Katie, Kurt, Sydney, and Lindsey Bell.

Funeral services will be held Fri., May 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates Mortuary Chapel, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South). Friends and family may visit on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
