Harold H. Hymas, a boilerman who lived in the Vancouver area for 53 years, died in Vancouver Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998. He was 82.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Alice M., at home; one daughter, Jacqueline Hess of Vancouver; three sons, Harold, Gary and Vern, all of Vancouver; two brothers, Rulon and Davis, both of Salt Lake City; one sister, Pearl Pace of Tucson, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hymas was born April 9, 1915, in Albion, Idaho. He worked at Alcoa and retired from Pendleton Woolen Mills in 1980.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fairway Village Ward.
