She was married November 29, 1924 in Elm Store, AR to Frank Brewer, who preceded her in death September 4, 1967.
She is survived by one daughter, Nora Elizabeth (Betty) Walker of West Plains, MO; six grandchildren, James Walker and his wife, Juanita, of West Plains; Debbie E. Carter of West Plains; Shirley Skiles and her husband, Ronnie, of Midland, TX; Joy King and her husband, Danny, of Pocahontas, AR; Douglas Brewer and his wife, Karen, of Pocahontas, AR; and Charles Brewer and his wife, Sandra, of Couch, MO; fifteen great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son and daughter-in-law, Hubert and Virginia Brewer, and one son-in-law, J.R. Walker; four brothers, Jessie, Grover, Manuel, and Clinton Dunkin; six sisters, Essis Crass, Ethel Crase, Roxie Peace, Bessie Peace, Etta Sanders, and Lillie Lane.
She was a charter member of the United Freewill Baptist Church in West Plains. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.
Services were held Wednesday, May 3, 2000 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in West Plains, MO with Rev. Glenn Murray officiating.
