Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 21, at Sauls Valley Baptist church for Ettie Mae Mullins, 84, of Rt. 1, Jayess. Mrs. Mullins died July 19 at King's Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mullins, a homemaker and member of Sauls Valley Baptist Church during her lifetime, is survived by five sons, Albon E. Mullins, and Aubrey Mullins, Wesley Mullins all of Jayess, Ray Mullins of Columbia and Claude King of Jayess; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Preston of ? ?, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Anthony of Hattiesburg; ? grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Charlie Ezell and the Rev. ? Deavers. Burial was in the Sauls Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfred Carney, Tommy Givens, Sherman Mullins, ? P. White, Leslie Buchanan, Jr. and Bob W. King.
