Mary Louise Chandler, age 83, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Polk Grove United Church of Christ. Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, John M. (Jack) Chandler; 1 daughter, Carolyn Adams of Vandalia; 1 son, John & wife Sandra E. Chandler of Centerville; 2 brothers, Carl Bear of Indiana, Raymond Bear of Texas; 1 sister, Dorcas Williams, of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Emily Chandler, Dean & Jimmy Adams and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 1 brother. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Satu4day, March 7, 1998, at the Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Polk Grove United Church of Christ Memorial Fund in Mary's memory. Arrangements by Morton & Whetstrne funeral Home, Vandalia.
