Birkett Leonard Peterson entered this life July 11, 1920 at Sidney, Neb., a twin brother, but being the weaker of the two his struggle to fill his place in life like a little man was more intense and accompanied with the adverse. His parents moved to our town in March, 1921, where he spent, the tender care of his loving parents, the few years of life. Besides attending the public school, he was enrolled in our Sunday School and showed a more serious and devoted tend of mind. He received the sacrament of Christian baptism and by his parents was dedicated to Christ and his service. He leaves to mourn his early passing to the better world, his loving parents, Berkley, his twin brother, and baby sister, Mattie Jane, 3 grandparents and a host of relatives and friends. Birkett reached the age of 5 years, 6 months and 18 days. Hardly had his career in life begun when his little soul was transplanted into the garden of God to beautify the celestial realms and to be in the presence of Jesus forever.
