Margaret Linderman was the daughter of Johann JACOB Linderman and his second wife Catherine Felten Linderman.
She was baptized Margretha on 4 Aug 1782 and the witnesses were Hendrich Sensepaugh and Margretha Felten. The record of her baptism is found in the US Dutch Reformed Church Records in Selected States- 1639- 1989 for Margretha Linderman, New York, Montgomery, Montgomery, Book 27. At some point in time, Margretha became known as "Peggy" and this was the name her father, Jacob, called her in his 1792 Will. Again, at some point in time, Margretha/Peggy became Margaret.
The reason this burial site is believed to be that of Margretha/Peggy/Margaret is that the date of death minus the age of 43 years closely aligns with Margretha's baptism year compared to several other Margaret Lindermans who had different birth years and different ages at death.
