Son of William Washington & Elizabeth Craig Cloyd. He was brother to Wilson, James, Lovina and Olive Cloyd. Doan (as he went by that name) and his sister Olive never married, they spent the rest of their lives living together. Doan was a farmer all his life, first in Madison Co., Nebr., and then in Payette Co., Idaho. He resided in Fruitland since 1937.
Survivors include nine nieces and nephews and many friends, graveside services were be held September 26 at 10 a.m. at the Park View cemetery in New Plymouth.
