PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Ronald Edward Adkins, 51, of Biggs Branch Road, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1992, in Pikeville Methodist Hospital.
Born June 28, 1941, in Pike County, he was a son of the late Abner Adkins. He was retired from the railroad and was a member of the Powell's Creek Revival Center.
Survivors: mother, Bessie Justice Adkins, Millard; sons, Jody Adkins and James Adkins, both of Millard; brothers, Elster Adkins and Abner Adkins Jr., both of Millard, Dorse Gene Adkins, Shelbiana; sister, Vestalena Hall, Harold; and a grandchild.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 1992, Morris Funeral Home, Justiceville, with Troy Tackett and Wade Bostic officiating.
Burial: Annie E. Young Cemetery, East Shelbiana.
