Bruno Edward Ising was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Mary and Henry Ising. Bruno Ising and Alice Feeney were united in marriage on November 27 1923, in Kansas City. Bruno Ising Sr., age 85, passed away Sunday, October 18, 1987, at his home in southeast Kansas City. Mr. Ising had been employed as weighmaster for the Kansas City Stockyards for 33 years. He then was a time keeper for Black, Civals & Bryson Grain Co. for 15 years, retiring in 1968.

Mr. Ising was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. He was also a member of Bishop Hogan's Knights of Columbus and the Thomas Frances Meagher Assembly. He left three sons; four daughters; a brother, Rudolph Ising, of Newport Beach, Calif.; 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family received friends at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, where the Rosary was prayed. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Burial followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
