Ernest Stapp, Former Resident, Dies at 87

Ernest Stapp, 87, who was born in Rock Island, died yesterday in Los Angeles, Calif., whre he has resided for about 30 years since leaving Rock Island. He worked as a druggist in Rock Iland and operated a drug supply firm in California.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Gertrude Stapp; a daughter, Mrs. Al Boeck of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; a brother, Oscar of Milan, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Emelie Stehn of Northwood, Iowa; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.

The first wife, the former Mary Pearce, died in 1950. He was also preceded in death by a son, a sister, and two brothers.
