Rosie worked for many years at Safeway, then later Hinky Dinky and SunMart, as a cashier and meat wrapper. In her later years, they moved to St. Joseph, MO, where they enjoyed managing a self-storage facility. They later retired and moved back to Falls City. Gerald passed away February 6, 2010.
