Doris Joyce Beyersdorf passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 90. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Palmer, Nebraska with Pastor John Doolittle officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Doris and her twin sister, Loris Dankert, were born on October 12, 1933 to Frank and Minnie Fechtner in Palmer, Nebraska. She married Arnold H. Beyersdorf on October 15, 1952 at Zion Lutheran Church in Worms, Nebraska. Together they raised 4 children. They were married for 56 years until Arnold's death in 2007. Doris was a longtime member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Bellevue.
She is survived by daughter Starla and husband Dan Gray of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Daryl of Los Angeles, California; and son Gary and wife Amy of Bellevue, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren—Angela Hayman, Chris Gray, Brad Gray, Daryl Jr Beyersdorf, Katie Yonkers, Anna Beyersdorf, Philip Beyersdorf, Jared Beyersdorf, Conner Beyersdorf, and Alyssa Beyersdorf; 9 great grandchildren—Michael, Mark, Ryan, Josh Hayman; Brinley, Calin, Landrey Gray; Braeden and Everleigh Gray; and Jamie Yonkers; Her twin sister Loris Dankert of Central City, Nebraska and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by Arnold; son Bruce; brothers Harold and Don; sisters Viola and Lucille; and parents Frank and Minnie.
