Kenneth Vernon returned to heaven to be with his wife Shana on January 20, 2024 in Evanston Wyoming. He was born May 10, 1936 in Coalville, Utah to Joe and Grace Vernon.

He married Shana Muir on September 29,1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. Dad lived in Woodruff Utah most of his life raising mink, hunting, and trapping.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with his favorite calling being Nursery Leader.

A great part of his life included trapping, guiding, and spending time on Deseret Land and Livestock.

Dad leaves behind three daughters, Kayleen (Rick) Argyle, Sandra (Doug) Matthews, Diane Johnson, and one son Larry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shanna, Son in Law Carl Johnson, Grandson Jeremy Matthews, sister and brother in law Jack and Joann Bell.

Wednesday night, on January 24th, there will be a viewing held from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Woodruff Ward Chapel. This will be followed by Funeral Services on Thursday Jan 25, 2024 at 11:00 preceded by a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 also held at the Woodruff Ward Chapel.

The family would like to thank the Rich County EMT's, Evanston Regional Hospital, and Rocky Mountain Care for all of their help in caring for Dad. Special Thanks to Greg at Crandall's Funeral Home for his kindness and help.
