Grace was the daughter of Samuel and Dora Staley Moore of Upton, Utah. She was born 2 July 1915 at Coalville, Utah. She was the oldest of seven children, Blaine, Lyle Otto, Paul & Pauline (twins), Dale and Max Samuel.
She married Lionel Joseph Vernon on 6 July 1933 in Coalville, Utah.
She is the mother of two children, JoAnn and Kenneth Lionel.
She moved with her husband, Joe to Woodruff in August 1937. They introduced the first mink ranch into the Rich County area.
Grace was active in the LDS church serving in Primary, Sunday School, MIA, and Relief Society. She was also a member of the ward choir for many years.
She passed away 15 June 1990 in Woodruff, Utah and is buried in the Woodruff, Utah cemetery.
