Melba Naomi Pfost, 74, a former Hibbert resident, died Nov. 21 in an Idaho Falls nursing home of undetermined causes.

She was born Dec. 15, 1908 in Hibbert as the last of seven children of Fredrick and Christina Magdalina Walz Pfost. She was raised in Hibbert and received her education there.

She lived with her mother until 1951. She then lived with her sisters until she moved to the Lost River Nursing Home in Arco in 1976.

She lived for a few years in Arco and then moved to the Valley Care Center in Idaho Falls, where she has since resided.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Vera) Hart, Mrs. Florence Birch, both of Idaho Falls.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral home in Rexburg. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service.

Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
