Rudolph Peashka was born on 11 April 1885, in a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, that is today Poland. He was a miner, that worked in the Sopris Coal Mine.


He had four known children. His first child was Elizabeth Clara Pieszka/Peashka [1], whom he had with Carolina Glatz. His other three children he had with his wife, Stella Stadniski (A.K.A. Stanislava Stadnicka). Their names were Ferdinand "Fred", Louci "Lucy", and Adolph.


On 24 March 1922, Rudolph was killed in the Sopris Mine Explosion [2], along with 16 other miners. He left behind his wife Stella and his four children.


Rudolph was buried in Trinidad Catholic Cemetery. When his widow, Stella Stadniski died in 1936, he was reinterred with her.

NOTE: He was originally buried in cemetery Section D, but was moved to Section: East 5, Lot: 42, and reburied with his widow, Stella, after she died in 1936.
