Alma Moakley, 83, of Adel, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her home. Alma was born to the late John and Ella Mae Rowell Cooper on October 22, 1940, in Douglas, GA. She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Alma was a true homemaker who loved to crochet, sew, and cook. Growing flowers brought her happiness; in her free time, she found peace by the water while fishing. Alma cherished her time as an attendee of Ray City Freewill Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray City Freewill Holiness Church with Rev. Marty McCranie officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
