Albert Lagasse, age 71, of Rugby, ND and formally of Rolla, ND, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Heart of America Medical Center, Rugby, ND.

Albert Emil Joseph Lagasse was born on April 22, 1949 to Emil and Emma (Lassonde) Lagasse in Rolla, ND and raised on the family farm. Albert did a variety of different jobs in his life. He was a farm laborer, a welder, and worked at a variety of businesses in Rolla doing odd jobs. He even owned his own business for a number of years as a small engine repairman, as he loved tinkering with small engines and took pride in getting an old engine running again. Albert loved gardening and likely had one of the largest gardens in town. If you couldn't find him in his house, you could certainly find him either working on an engine in his shop or behind the huge lilac bushes working in the garden in the backyard. Albert also loved to fish and never turned down an offer to go fishing. He was an active 3rd degree Knight of Columbus and was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Rolla.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Family Mass and burial will be held. Burial be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Rolla, ND. Father Thai Arul presiding.

Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND.
