Wilma "Jeane" Turner Brooks 65 years old left her earthly life on January 12, 2024 in Millcreek, Utah.

Jeane was born on Dec 2, 1958 to Daniel W and Phylis Gale Turner. She was raised in Maeser and educated in local area schools. Jeane was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was raised with its teachings. She was the fourth child in her family and the baby for seven years, until Dana was born. Jeane enjoyed the farm around which she was raised and all of the animals and work that went along with it. The family spent many hours in the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and making their own fun.

At 16 Jeane was married to Jerry Eaton and they had one son; Roy, their marriage was brief and they later divorced. Sometime later she and Terry Simper married and they had two more sons; Mat and Corwin, they also later divorced.

Jeane loved the simple things in life, mountain rides, rock hunting, shooting and spending time with family and friends. She loved animals and nature and made pets out of some peculiar animals like, salamanders, horned toads, ducks, and crickets. Jeane was very talented with crochet work and made many beautiful afghans for her family and friends. She enjoyed jewelry, antiques, yard sales, gardening, yard work, and traveling. She spent hours boating and fishing with her third husband Rick and her boys.

She enjoyed working at Smiths in the deli for quite a few years and worked as a maid cleaning houses in Vernal.

When we think of Jeane, we'll forever remember her beautiful dark brown hair and eyes, her smile and her mischievous grin, her sense of humor and love of fun in all of its forms. She was easy to laugh and fun to be around. Jeane suffered a stroke over 8 years ago and her life wasn't fun anymore, she'd lost the ability to live on her own, drive, crochet and do so many things she enjoyed. Her situation was very difficult for her and even though she endured it until the end, we hope and pray she is free now from bodily restrictions, and finds peace and happiness with our Father in Heaven and family & friends who have passed on. She'll finally know the circumstances of David's death.

Jeane joined her grandparents: Jesse & Edith Gale, Daniel W Turner Sr., and Wilma & Will
McConkie (her step grandpa) parents: Dan & Phyllis Turner, son: Matt Simper, Brothers:
David W and Lee Turner, and niece: Maren Turner Collier. May they all rest in peace and love, until we meet again.

Jeane is survived by sisters; Claudia (Gary) Reynolds, and Dana Powell, sons: Roy Eaton and Corwin Simper and grandchildren: Gage, Bray, Isaac, Ryatt and Raelinn, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Jeane' will be held Friday January 19, 2024 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West). Visitation for family and friends will be held that morning from 9:45am ~ 10:45am all at the funeral home.
