William "Bill" Martin Herron passed away in Houston, Texas on December 26, 2022. Bill was born on October 13, 1931, in Concord, Texas to William Odis and Rilla (Prince) Herron.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Daniel and Tommy Herron; sons Darryl Huffman and Lester Ray Herron; and granddaughter Dubbie Mizzell.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Herron; children Teresa Kay Pigg and husband Danny, Pamela Ann Cole and husband Van, Mary Lou Bridges, and Gail McAlexander and husband Jon; grandchildren Richard, William, Jennifer, Kelly, Jon, Tony, John, Andy, Danielle, Jason, Kristi, and Calvin. Numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.

In his leisure time, Bill, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved socializing and playing poker and dominoes. His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory and protect his legacy.
