Daniel Otis Herron passed away peacefully on November 8, 2018. He was born on November 30, 1929 to William and Rilla Herron. Daniel spent most of his life as a carpenter and was a Carpenter's Association Union member of Oregon and Oklahoma until he retired in 1991. Daniel loved life and never missed an opportunity to make people laugh or smile. He never met a stranger. Daniel loved the Lord and studied the Bible daily.
Daniel was married to Shirley Mae Herron (Flanagan) who passed away in 1995. He was preceded in death by his father William Herron; his mother Rilla Herron; his brother Iron Thomas "Tommy" Herron and his grandson Charles Fredrick Herron. Daniel is survived by his brother Bill (Linda) Herron of Glendale, TX; his son Jack (Janet) Rogers of Vancouver, WA; his son Larry (Nancy) Rogers of Vancouver, WA; his son Richard (Theresa) Herron of McMinnville, OR; his son Mark (Helen) Herron of Huntsville, TX and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will hold a memorial service for Daniel at a later date.
