Providence "Cookie" Bachand, 73, formally of Dean St., Schenectady, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Providence was the daughter of the late Bartolo and Sarafina Pugliese. She was employed at Ellis Hospital for 18 years, then at Environment One in Niskayuna, retiring in the 1990s.
Providence was the mother of three... Sister of Joseph Pugliese, Mary Cosimano, Anne Battaglia and the late Julie Recht and Angela Vasile. Grandmother of nine.... Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
