"Brooks Infant Passes Away In U.C. Hospital --
Carol Jean Brooks, five-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Brooks, 602 Oregon Avenue, died this morning at the University Of California Hospital, in San Francisco, after an illness of several weeks. Private funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon, followed by interment at Alta Mesa. The decease child was twin sister of Clairin Patricia, and an older sister and brother, Edith and Clarence Jr., also survive her."

"In Palo Alto, California, June 6, 1934, Carol Jean Brooks, infant daughter of Clarence W. Brooks. Sister of Clarence W. Jr., Edith and Clarin Patricia Brooks. A native of Palo Alto, aged 5 months and 18 days. Private funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Tinney Funeral Home. Interment at Alta Mesa Memorial Park."
