"Mrs. Nona Brooks Dies Unexpectedly ---
Mrs. Nona Brooks, wife of Clarence W. Brooks, of Palo Alto, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart ailment early this morning at the Palo Alto Hospital. Mrs. Brooks had live in Palo Alto for the past 29 years. The family home is at 602 Oregon Avenue. She was a native of McKinney, Texas. She was a member of Women's Auxiliary No. 76 International Typographical Union. Her husband is a Palo Alto Times printer. Surviving her, in addition to her husband, are three children, Clarence W. Brooks Jr., of Sunnyvale, Clarin Patricia Brooks, of Palo, Alto, and Mrs. Edith Rawson, of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves a brother, William G. Porter, of San Jose, and the following grandchildren: Sheryl Lynn Brooks, of Palo Alto; Cathryn Anne Brooks, of Sunnyvale, and Diane Rawson, Michael Rawson, William Rawson and Robin Rawson, all of San Antonio, Texas. The time of services will be announcement tomorrow. Friends may call at the Roller & Hapgood chapel, 980 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto."

"Services will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Roller & Hapgood chapel, in Palo Alto, for Mrs. Nona Brooks, who died unexpectedly yesterday morning at Palo Alto Hospital, of an apparent heart ailment. Interment will be at Alta Mesa Memorial Park. Mrs. Brooks was the wife of Clarence W. Brooks Sr., a Palo Alto Times printer. She had lived in Palo Alto for the past 29 years. The family home is at 602 Oregon Avenue. She was a native of McKinney, Texas. She was a member of Women's Auxiliary No. 76 International Typographical Union.
