Mrs. Euna J. Hoogland, 83, of 6 Lantern Lane died at 11:41 a.m. Monday at Memorial Medical Center

Born in Edinburg, Mrs. Hoogland was the daughter of John [William Wallace] and Samantha Wheeler Alexander. She was member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Carrie Post Circle of Kings Daughters and Chapter FU of the PEO Sisterhood.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence; one son, Charles R. of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Olive June Tapper of Evanston; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Spratt of Edinburg; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James S. Barge officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
