MRS. GOLDIE B. SPENCER
SHELBINA, Mo. — Services for Mrs. Goldie B. Spencer, 81, of Shelbina, who died Tuesday (April 29, 1969) at 8:15 a. m. in Levering Hospital at Hannibal, will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Davis Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Watkins will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery.
Mrs. Spencer was born in Christian County, Ill, April [sic] 19, 1888, a daughter of William W. and Samantha Ellen Wheeler Alexander. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was married to Add R, Spencer Feb. 4, 1909. He died March 24, 1941.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Helen Spencer of Shelbina and Mrs. George (Margaret) Kenaga of Chicago; five sisters, Mrs. C. M. (Ethel) Yoder of Hattiesburg, Miss., Mrs. Earl (Gladys) Hartell and Mrs. Tom (Hazel) Spratt of Edinburg, Ill.; Mrs. C. C. (Eura) Hoagland of Springfield, and grandchild. Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
