Edith "Edie" Berger-Poole, 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 27, 2023. Beloved wife and best friend of Don for 26 wonderful years and the late Eugene Berger; loving mother of Joel (Francine) Berger; cherished grandma of Erica, Megan and Hunter; much loved sister of Sharon (Jeff) Prosansky, the late Henry (the late Ilene) Benson, the late Rochelle (the late Herb) Smith; dear aunt of Mindy Benson, Caryn Davidson, Brandon Prosansky, Neal Prosansky and the late Larry Benson. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to Beth Tikvah Congregation, www.beth-tikvah.org. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Friday, December 29, 2023; 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
