Betty Rose Stahl, 96, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Lifetime Pierceton, Indiana resident, Betty Rose was born on January 7, 1927, to Oren Lee and Beatrice Berdell (Pollock) Nichols. She graduated from Pierceton High School with the class of 1945 and went on to graduate from Fort Wayne University Beauty College.

In Pierceton on October 23, 1948, Betty Rose married Claud L. Stahl and the couple would welcome two children.

Betty Rose was the owner of Betty Rose Beauty Salon since 1945, making many lasting friendships while serving her community as a beautician.

She was a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church, the Lions Club, Eastern Star, and a volunteer for 35 years in the State School Project in Fort Wayne.

Betty Rose is survived by her son, Bradley Stahl of Pierceton; granddaughter Jessica Stahl and four great-grandchildren, Neveah Rose and Dravin Marcus Shilling, Davina Adalynn Irene and Avalynn Katrina Jane Frush; her faithful dog Magic as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Claud in 2002; her daughter Belinda Jane Stahl; her parents; two brother, Gordon and Lee Junior Nichols; and great-grandson Ronan Samuel Frush.
