Addie Louise Young, daughter of Cyprenne Dionne of the Hudson Bay Company at Fort Langley, her father was also known as French John and John Young. Addie was born at Fort Langley, BC and baptized on September 11, 1853. Her mother was Khah-my, daughter of Khahtsalanough, for whom Kitsilano Bridge and Bay are named. She married in 1868 to Pierre Plante, and her marriage is one of the earliest for which written records exist in BC.
