Georgia Thornsbury

I will try to write the obituary of Georgia Thornsbury. Sister Georgia was born at Kimper, KY, October 7, 1901 and died June 4, 1988. She was the daughter of William Martin and Pricy Phillips Thornsbury. She was the last of five brothers and six sisters living.
Sister Georgia joined the Old Regular Baptist Church and was baptized by the hands of her brother Elder J. G. Thornsbury and Elder H. C. Maynard.
Sister Georgia loved the Lord Jesus and every time we went to see her she was glad to see us. When we got ready to leave her at Phelps Nursing Home she would ask us to pray for her and she would follow us to the door and watch us until we got out of sight.
I believe Sister Georgia's soul is at rest by the fruits she bore while she lived. Her body is awaiting for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to resurrect it on that last day.

Elder Berlin Thornsbury
and his wife, Thurajene
