Former County Resident Died
Glenn Allen Parriott eldest son of Edgar and Minnie Parriott. age 62, was born at Plattsmouth and moved to Peru with his parents when a child. He passed away at Bakersfield, Calif., March 13 and funeral services were held at Los Angeles March 18 with burial there. He attended Peru high school and graduated from Peru State Teachers college. He taught school several years at Atlantic, la. and was employed at the court house in Auburn for some time. He was united in marriage to Icil Redding of Plattsmouth and to this union were born three children, two sons and one daughter. One son, Robert Clair, died at the age of six months as the result of an auto accident.

Funeral services for Glenn A. Parriott, 61, who lived at 239 E 5th St, were held today at W. A. Brown & Son funeral home. Interment followed in Valhalla Cemetery. Surviving are a son, Victor Parriott, and a daughter, Mrs. Arlene San Pedro.
