David Watson passed away at his home, December 31st, at the age of 72 years. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Yoho Watson and was born August 6th, 1854. His death, which came as a shock, was caused by paralysis and his sickness lasted but a few hours. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julia Watson and one son Benjamin of East Liverpool, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Carpenter having preceded him in death a few years ago. Funeral services were held from the M. E. church Sunday afternoon conducted by ref. R. D. Ames and interment made in the Beaver Baptist cemetery of Batesville.
