Alonzo Puderbaugh was found early Monday morning near the Hiles school house, with indications of having been dead for some hours. He was intoxicated and it is supposed that he was running his horse and in trying to make the turn ran up the bank, tipping the wagon over, throwing him out and catching his neck in the top braces choking him to death. A watch, $20 70 in money and a revolver were found on his person, also a broken bottle near his side. The horse was dead nearby. The coroner was summoned but thought an inquest unnecessary. Undertaker Sweet, of Dryden, took charge of the remains. The interment was at Willow Glen Tuesday.
