Cary Lee Bowlyou, age 83, of Moline, Illinois, passed away at 10:12 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at Unity Point Health Medical Center in Rock Island, Illinois. He was born May 23, 1940 in Stronghurst, Illinois, the son of Charles Earl and Helen M. Eaves Bowlyou. In May of 1975, he married (Hemm).
Cary was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a mechanic for Alcoa in Riverdale, Iowa for many years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Bettendorf Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Lenny Bowlyou.
Burial with military honors will follow in the Carman Cemetery.
