Lynnie was the owner and operator of the Aledo Tastee Freez for the past 25 years. Previously, he worked for McCaw’s Furniture in Aledo, IL, Gambles in Mediapolis, IA, and the Santa Fe Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Bowlyou; one son Brent; two daughters, Stacy (Brian) Clark and Tracy (Henry Allen) Martin; six grandchildren, Mason Bowlyou, Allie Bowlyou, Megan Bowlyou, Lyndsey Clark, Ashlyn Martin and Anthony Martin; four brothers, Cary (Judy) Bowlyou, Charles (Sue) Bowlyou, Richard (Linda) Bowlyou and Byron (Shelly) Bowlyou; and numerous loving nieces and nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Bowlyou of Lomax, IL.
