Clara H. Pike, age 55, of Gloversville, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
She was born on September 4, 1955 in Gloversville a daughter of the late William D. Cole Sr. and Addie Van Nostrand Cole.
She was a graduate of Gloversville High School.
She was employed at Continental Mills, and the Leader Herald.
Clara loved fishing, bowling, computers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her fiance Wade Putman of Gloversville; two sons Christopher Cole of Johnstown and Jay Putman of Gloversville; three daughters Melissa (Charles) Richardson of Ft. Johnson, Erica (Mike Szurek) Putman of Johnstown, and Jadelynn Putman of Gloversville; four brothers Robert (Cindy) Cole Sr. of Gloversville, Michael (Elaine Richards) Teale Sr. of Gloversville, Francis J. Cole of Gloversville and Gerald ( Lois) Cole of Mississippi; one sister Michelle Teale of South Carolina; six grandchildren Lance Richardson, Ryan Richardson, Carson Richardson, Logan Szurek, Jennalyn Szurek and Kendra Szurek; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother William D. Cole Jr.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.
