Timothy J. Sullivan died at the Chenango Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, at 6 p.m. after a long period of ill health, which had been of a critical nature for a period of less than two weeks.

Mr. Sullivan was born in New Berlin, the third son of the late William and Julie Galvin Sullivan. He was 74 years of age.

For many years he followed the profession of farming, and for the past 36 years he has operated the farm near Smyrna which has been his home. Here he was known as an upright, honorable and kindly man, and friends and neighbors will mourn with his bereaved family.

Surviving are an only son, Dr. Harry Stack Sullivan of New York City, one sister, Mrs. Frank L. Crandall of this city and two brothers, William Sullivan of Norwich and Edward J. Sullivan of Utica.

The body was taken to the home of Mrs. Crandall, 10 Beach Stret, from where the funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30, to be followed by a requiem mass at St. Malachy's church, Sherburne, at 9:30, the Rev. Raymond P. Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Malachy's cemetery. (Published in the Norwich Sun Wednesday, June 3, 1931)
