David E. Dahlin of 2610 South Congress died in a local hospital early Thursday.
He was a lifelong resident of Austin and was an employe at Austin Baking Company for 11 years.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Irma B. Dahlin; four daughters, Mrs Florence Farr of Fr. Clark, Brackettville, Mrs Lucille Owens of Buda, Miss Norma Gayle Dahlin and Miss Barbara Dahlin of Austin; two sons, David Dahlin, Jr. of Houston and William Dahlin of Van Nuys,Calif; one sister, Mrs Ester Haynie of Austin; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home with the Rev. T.K. Anderson officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
