Jeanette Damron Bentley, age 86, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center. Jeanette was born on May 16, 1937 to her parents the late Hascal Damron and Mary Leah Mitchell Damron. She was the wife of the late Leon Bentley, a homemaker, and a member of the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.

Along with her husband and parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kimberly Thompson, two brothers, Bill Damron, Bobby Joe Damron, and one sister, Lou Lewis.

Jeanette is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
