Mr. Edward "Eddie" Lee Parrish, 64, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
His funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Mayodan United Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. David Kelly and the Rev. Chuck Killian will officiate.
Interment will follow in Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Parrish was born on Aug. 30, 1942, in Rockingham County, the son of the late Robert Lee Parrish and the late Lettie Jackson Parrish.
He had retired from Unifi with 27 years of service and was a salesman for the House of Stars.
