Military and politician, younger brother of Spanish dictador Generalísimo Francisco Franco. He was anarchist, Republican and free Mason. In 1926 aboard the seaplane Plus Ultra joined Spain with Argentina in a 20-day trip across the Atlantic Ocean, emulating the feat of Christopher Columbus. He earned his deputy Catalan Republican Left in 1931. Started the Civil War, joins the National Bando. He was Lieutenant Colonel Chief Air Regions. He died when his plane crashed in the Mediterranean Sea during a bombing raid against Republican positions during the Spanish Civil War.
