Rush Springs: Richard Walter Levings, 92, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 in Marlow, OK.

Richard was born Thursday, February 19, 1931 in Marland, OK, to George and Alice (Skinner) Levings. He was a graduate at Marland High School. He lived in Weatherford and Fort Worth, TX before moving to Rush Springs in 1991. Richard worked until his retirement as an Inspector for Bell Helicopter. He married the love of his life, Joan Landrum, July 17, 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX. Richard and Joan celebrated more than 71 wonderful years of marriage at the time of his passing. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and crafts. Richard enjoyed farming and loved animals of any kind. He loved his family the most and cherished the time spent with them.
Richard will be missed by many.

Survivors include his loving wife, Joan Levings of the home, son, Mike Levings and wife Chris of Ford, KS, grandchildren, Shelley Sanders and husband Mike, Chrissy Aleman and husband Luis, Sarah Collins and husband Tony, Dalene Brill and John Allen, Joe Stout and wife Katelyn, and Paul Harnish and wife Kim, 22 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Frank Levings and wife Grace of Weatherford, TX, Louie Levings and wife Marilyn of Marland, and Fred Levings and wife Betty of Garber, 2 sisters, JoAnn Sorenson and husband Alan of Nowata, and Mildred Hutton and husband Warren of Yukon, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, George Levings and Hosie Levings, and 5 sisters, Anna Mae Thorton, Helen Hammontree, Jane Cooper, Julie Foaks, and Bessie Carey.
Pallbearers will be: Brendan Biggs, Mike Sanders, Kevin McElroy, Rick Levings, Shawn Levings, and Larry Hayes

Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard's brothers, Frank Levings, Louie Levings, and Fred Levings
